Mont Blanc


A French classic made with sweetened chestnut cream atop a crisp meringue. 
I'm not trying to stray away from the original much, because in some cases, they just can't be improved upon (i.e. apple pie).  I've only just add a couple of fun garnishes like the frozen cranberry foam.

Sneak Gingerbread Peek


Standing over three feet wide and nearly two feet tall, this little monster has taken a good part of a week to plan, cut, bake, build and decorate.  Inspired by the iconic brownstones and row houses of the city, this structure is visually split into 3 separate homes, each with its own unique character.  Gum drops, lollipops, and a flurry of piped royal icing make it fun and festive.  The fragrant & mottled gingerbread itself is also showcased among the busy details of sugar.  An undertaking like this cannot be accomplished without the help of many little elves, so this is a little thank you to them.
